Meetings

People organize meetings to plan stuff. During the meeting, the collaboration feels like a free for all to see how many adjectives people can throw into a proposal. Maybe I'm too controlling. If I directed a meeting, it would have a strict schedule and utilize e-mail or better correspondence. During and meetings I day dream of various natural disasters interrupting the "flow" of buzzwords evacuating the building.

When everything is important, nothing is important.

Ever have so much to do that you don't know exactly where to start? I keep running into these... opportunities that I can't turn down, but they require extra energy. I've spread myself thin. I think it would be easier to sell all my possessions and rent a house and automate daily tasks such as cleaning and yard work.
