Thesis update #2

I'm plodding along and using a combination of Evernote and Scrivner. Evernote has been useful as I'm often not at the computer when an idea comes to me so I'll record my thoughts or a few sentences on my iPhone. One of the requests from my committee was to include allusions to "Hard Times" by Charles Dickens. So I read a synopsis on SpatkNotes and pulled a copy off the Gutenberg Project. I have the first chapter open and proceed to imitate the writing style in a separate blank Evernote. It's pretty fun and makes for a structured account of a personal experience. I think it will be a strong hook for readers.
